Avoid pregnancy with ease
Take a Billings Ovulation Method class from the comfort of your own home.
Did you know?
You can’t get pregnant on every day of your cycle. There is a window of potential fertility in every cycle that you can learn to identify using the Billings Ovulation Method.
The Billings Method is a fertility awareness based method that identifies patterns of fertility and infertility throughout the menstrual cycle, primarily through recognizing sensations experienced at the vulva.
This information can be used to avoid or achieve pregnancy, depending on the couple’s intentions, and help them to identify the days in the cycle that are available for worry-free intercourse.
Are you looking for an effective, low maintenance way to avoid pregnancy?

“Working with Brittany was a total game changer for me. I had a very basic understanding of fertility, but not necessarily how it related to me and my cycle. She made me feel completely comfortable asking questions and through working together, I now feel so competent understanding and tracking my cycle. I feel in tune with my body’s natural rhythms, and I share so much appreciation for Brittany in helping me get there!”— Carrie
You’re a great fit for my program if…
You’re currently avoiding pregnancy
While the Billings Method can be used to help optimize your chances of conceiving a pregnancy, I work with women and couples who are looking for an effective way to avoid pregnancy, either temporarily or permanently. Brief instructions for achieving pregnancy are included in the course so you have that information if or when your fertility goals change.
You aren’t on birth control
Your observations will be obscured by the use of hormonal contraception or IUDs, and you simply won't get your money's worth out of working with me! I can begin teaching you the day you discontinue your birth control.
You are OK with abstaining initially
In order to establish your basic infertile pattern, it's necessary for you to abstain from all genital contact for the first 2-4 weeks of charting, depending on your cycle pattern. Following this guidance allows you to more quickly identify your fertile vs infertile patterns.

The use of barrier methods such as condoms is considered a departure from the authentic Billings Ovulation Method. As your Billings instructor, I am obligated to recommend that you avoid using barriers because they may disrupt your pattern of discharge and confuse your observations. That said, I have worked with many clients who make the informed choice to use barriers. I have no moral objection to barriers and am happy to meet people where they're at. I believe it’s possible to have a successful charting experience even if you aren’t a “perfect” charter - you just need to understand how certain decisions may affect your observation and your overall effectiveness at avoiding pregnancy.
You and your partner are in the driver's seat when it comes to your decisions around managing fertility!

Spermicides will completely disrupt your observations, often for several days. For this reason, I will say that Billings (or any method that involves charting discharge observations) is not for you, if you plan to use spermicides as part of your pregnancy prevention strategy. These include N-9, Caya Gel, Contragel, Phexxi, and other similar products.
